Chassagne Montrachet, located in the southern part of the Côte de Beaune, is one of the 5 villages that make up the prestigious "Côte des Blancs". The soil of Chassagne, facing east and southeast, is mainly composed of marble-like limestone. The Chassagne Montrachet vineyard covers approximately 300 hectares, 3/4 of which is planted with Chardonnay and the remaining quarter with Pinot Noir.
