Sourced from estate vineyards averaging 50 years in age, the vines are planted at an altitude of 500 meters in pure slate soils. The Valdeorras valley, nestled in the highest mountains of Galicia, experiences both the highest and lowest temperatures in the region, with relatively low rainfall. These conditions, along with significant diurnal temperature variations, contribute to the wine's balanced acidity and mineral complexity.
