Bandol is absolutely one of the best regions in the world for producing Rosé, ideally situated on the Mediterranean coast just east of Cassis. The main characteristic of the AOC is the stone-like aridity and low fertility of well-drained, highly calcareous soils, plus the baking sun and the late-ripening Mourvedre grape.
A medium bodied, complex rose with layers of savory fruit notes and fruit leather with a medium-to-full body and a medium-to-long tamarind, watermelon, and thyme finish.
