Federico Paternina Rioja Reserva 2018

Availability: In stock

The origins of this winery date back to 1896, when Federico Paternina bought three bodegas in Ollauri, in the Rioja Alta area. He subsequently acquired a cooperative in Haro, considerably expanding his production capability. Marcos Eguizabal Ramirez and his son Carlos, had restored the winery’s reputation, taking Paternina public in 1998. With a new winery in Haro, the winery now has 250 acres of vineyards and also purchases grapes from trusted growers and coops.

This reserva is made from 25-year-old vines. Is complex and well-balanced, with classic Rioja aromas of toasted nuts, and dried fruits, and fresh acidity. Perfect  complement to any traditional Spanish cuisine.
