For the 2023 vintage of Conta-Me Vinho Verde Rosé we went to Barcelos - a region within the renowned Vinho Verde DOC - where we worked with one of the area's most old-school producers to make a wine that made us happy.
This blend of the driest red grapes of the region has a rhubarb meets grapefruit nose, with passionfruit on the palate and a dry finish, a bit of spritz, and a lot of acidity to keep us satiated. Though this is vinho verde in its true essence, we also feel that Conta-Me VV is a grown up version of what most know the region for.
