Aromas of dried rose petals, modeling clay, tart red cherry, kola nut, chinese 5 spice, olive, and umami with a round, tart, bone-dry medium-to-full body and a tingling, involved, medium-long rose water, fennel, red cherry, anise, potting soil, roasted oranges, and dried berries and pomegranate finish with drying tannins and a suggestion of oak flavor. A mellow and drying Italian red that will serve well at the table.
