Intense golden yellow colour with green hues. On the nose, it is fresh and elegant with notes of white peach and green apple, pineapple and delicate hints of lemon. On the palate, the entire mouth is pervaded by a marked freshness that accompanies the entire tasting experience. The body is voluminous and structured, accompanied by silky tannins that caress the palate. Citrus notes of grapefruit and fresh elderflower emerge. The finish is savory and persistent, worthy of a great aging wine.
Four grapes make up the blend in this wine, each vinified separately and differently.
Orpicchio: whole cluster pressing followed by fermentation and aging in stoneware amphorae and used barriques
Vermentino: whole cluster pressing followed by fermentation and ageing in stoneware amphorae
Grechetto: 6-day carbonic maceration in stainless steel to enhance the aromatic profile, followed by alcoholic fermentation and ageing in used barriques
Trebbiano: 5-day maceration of destemmed grapes followed by fermentation and maturation in used barriques
The individual wines aged on the fine lees during the winter before being blended and bottled in spring.
