The wine reveals good texture and a slightly waxy feel with hints of the dried tropical fruits and grapefruit-like aromas you get from the grape skins. One-third of the wine goes into oak, and that also adds to the spiciness and textural support of this wine. It shows much more fruit weight and depth when considered on a scale of Falanghina wines.
