This wine finds its harmony in the delicacy of Sangiovese, in the strength of Merlot and in the intensity of Cabernet Sauvignon. James Suckling 91 pts: A firm and spicy red with a deep core of ripe fruit and a cedary aftertaste. It offers notes of ripe cherries, wild berries, dark chocolate, ground cloves and bark. Full, compact and pretty tight on the palate, with chewy tannins. A bit austere at the end, but nicely filled with fruit.
