Chateau De Pennautier Cabardes 2019 750 ML

A Languedoc Blend of Cabernet Franc 10%, Cabernet Sauvignon 20%, Merlot 20%, Malbec 10%, Syrah 20%, Grenache 20%. Tasting notes Dark red-purple color, almost black in its youth. A very pure flavor of ripe red & black fruits (cherries, blackberries, mulberries…). On the palate, there is an intense fruitiness which is enhanced by a tannic structure, typical of the bordelais grape varieties. The wine is intended to be drunk in its youth, but can age over 3 to 4 years. Vineyard The vineyard is situated on the sunny, South-facing lower slopes of La montagne Noire, between 200 and 400 meters of Altitude, with breathtaking views on all sides- the snow-capped Pyrenees, the Massif Central to the North and the famous medieval city of Carcassonne. Exposed in the South, the vines benefit from the mixture of East-West climate. The soil is predominantly made up of limestone.
