Louis Jadot Marsannay Rouge 2019

Availability: On backorder

Marsannay is the northernmost commune of the Côte d’Or, and was granted its appellation in 1987, the first to cover red, white and rosé wines. In winemaking, the Pinot Noir grapes are fermented for about 4 weeks in oak vats, then matured in oak barrels for 15 months before bottling.

tasting note

This deeply colored wine has a blackberry, prune and black currant aroma that acquires a muskiness with age. Tannic and supple, it will develop for 8 to 12 years in the bottle.
